DIY – Custom Dyed Bottlebrush Trees

I have a large collection of bottlebrush trees and love to create little vignettes all over the house at Christmas.  I was so excited to find this fabulous tutorial on Craftyminx for dying them any color you’re dreaming of.  Of course I made mine Aqua and Pink. Read a great tutorial using the link for Craftyminx on my Blogroll.

I love Dana’s site. There’s all kinds of wonder. Look around, stay awhile, learn a lot.

Here’s how my frosty forest turned out. I packaged them for gifting with a little bag of snow, a poem and an antique Christmas card I found on a treasure hunt at the local Antique Mall. Very Vintage!

Lucky me, I have a dedicated craft room and currently design for Paige Taylor Evans and The Hip Kit Club. I mostly enjoy making 12x12 layouts and Mini Albums. Thanks so much for coming by 💛

    1. I made one for Aunty Kathleen and a couple of other sweethearts. Thanks for linking back to this Alys. I think it’s fun to see how much my Posts have changed. I’ve learned so much in one year by visiting around WordPress and your posts. Always so well written and researched. I think the calibre of photography on some of these Blogs is stunning. What a fun community.
