Vintage Viewmaster and Priceless Memories

I’ve been collecting Viewmaster Reels as an anniversary gift for Mr Right.  I thought it’d be fun to collect reels for destinations we’ve traveled together.  It’s been fun, like a treasure hunt.  Some I found on Ebay, some in collectable stores and antique malls.  Not all the reel covers were in good shape so I made a sleeve (out of card stock) to slip them into.

I tried to print a photo of us in that location.  If I didn’t have one, I always had one of Mr Right, and since he’s kinda  cute, that worked out fine.

I was lucky to find a small glass box at Homesense that perfectly fit the Vintage Viewmaster and the sleeves. This way it can be set out, displayed and enjoyed.

I’m already collecting a few more destinations for future gifts (christmas stocking stuffers, birthdays and more anniversary celebrations).  I figure by the time we’re old and grey it might be a grande collection.  Worth millions? Perhaps not, but all the memories of trips together are priceless.

Lucky me, I have a dedicated craft room and currently design for Paige Taylor Evans and The Hip Kit Club. I mostly enjoy making 12x12 layouts and Mini Albums. Thanks so much for coming by 💛

Talk nerdy to me………..
