Dear Blossum,
You’ve always been there, by my side, even when we weren’t sure we had a home. But sometimes I wonder,
I’M THE REBEL YOU’RE NOT
I LIKE TO PLAY YOU LIKE TO WATCH
YOU FINISH YOUR CRUNCHIES I LIKE TO NIBBLE
I LIKE IT INSIDE YOU WOULD LOVE TO GO OUT
How is it that we are so different? It’s a mystery for sure. At the end of the day, I know you’ll be by my side, to comfort me and sometimes even give me hugs. I’m so lucky to have you. Yes, we’re different, but I’m glad you’re my sister.
With Love, your sister Petals
Dedicated to sisters, and girlfriends who are like a sister

That is so awsome, thank you for sending that along. That first tabby/white kitty made me laugh so hard..the look is ‘I could care less’. Very detail info, I’ve bookmarked. I do think black cats are hard to tell apart, mine are microchiped but we lost a black kitty a few years back & I drove into town dozens of times because on line they all looked like Paco. I think ‘Niles’ is such a dignafied name…(re: end of post), maybe next kitty…yah, “Niles Boomdeeadda”, sounds good. HA Thanks

I’m sorry you lost your kitty. That is heartbreaking.
I think micro-chipping pets is one of the best things to come along. It’s not fool-proof but its an improvement.
Niles will forever remind me of the TV show Fraser. LOL.

What a lovely set of photos and captions. I had a pair of male cats that I raised from kittenhood and they two were like night and day. Amazing creatures.
That last picture is especially beautiful.

I guess they aren’t too different then you & I, family members can have such different personalities, but there’s always that bond. Black cats seem harder to photograph, but I do like that one too, thank you. Do you find that with Slinky-Malinky?

Yes! I’ve taken many photos of her, only to discard them. Conversely, the lighter colored cats are easy. I think white reflects light and black absorbs it. I’ll have to see if I can read up on tips and tricks. If I find any good ones, I’ll share.
