Celebrating the holidays is a joy, but it’s also nice to get your house back in order….even if it did take three days.
The BOOMINATOR has been annihilating the Christmas clean-up 😀

A good time was had by all !!

I always wear my red pantsuit when I shampoo the carpet, too. What a coincidence!
Love the photos. I’m a fan of a good clean out, but it sure is a lot of work. Congratulations on getting thing packed and organized for next year.
Thanks for the ping-back. You are so sweet to do that.

LOL, you’re so fancy Alys 😉 Animal Couriers commented below that the Electrolux team did a great job on the grass….LOL, I’m pretty sure we had carpet that colour at home at one time in the 70’s.
I did get everything packed and somewhat organized. Could’ve done better but we are getting company tomorrow and so finally I just closed the boxes and moved them downstairs. We’ve both ping’d each other tonight….ha are we on the same wave length or what? mwaaaa xK

That we are and I love it!
How fun to have guests. I hope you all have a wonderful time. It’s unusual for me, but this time of year is very busy. So I have one new client on Saturday and another on Sunday. Usually I work Monday – Friday.
Mwaaaa to you too.

HI Paula, thanks for your ‘follow’ and welcome, welcome. I’ve just been bombing around your lovely posts as well. Congratulations on getting thru the clean up. I was also trying to purge and organize but after 3 days of a giant mess I finally just started closing boxes. We are renting while we look for a new home and we have stuff here, there and everywhere. Sugar & Babe look like a lot of fun, I’m looking forward to getting to know them too. Cheers!

We have been where you are….we had stuff in storage for a couple of years while in transition. THEN we realized we didn’t need much of it when we moved it….and the get rid of monster started in! We have moved a lot and it makes it easier for me to think before I buy…..plus to get rid. I am sentimental….so it took a lot to get me to this place! haha! The pups are a LOT of fun and rule the house. So glad to know you now!!! Yay for 2013! psb ♥

Hi Lea, there’s so many other fun things to do when you’re young…I completely understand. I forced myself to get it done since I had started and made a big mess but I’m getting company this weekend….nothing like inviting people over to light a fire under your feet. Thanks for visiting my Pinterest, I’ll swing over to yours too! 🙂

LOL! I love how you looked at the clean up. I did it in phases, yet somehow I managed to leave several things behind. Those will be put away once I am done with this whole flu thing (God willing, it will be soon).
To be honest, I am kind of relieved. Jasper kept knocking his ball into the tree (although I may have been at fault in some cases) and I lost several glass ornaments this year. Safer in boxes I guess. 🙂

Well dang hey, everyone has had this nasty flu…I got it while I was on vacation in California early Dec…while that was a bummer, I was happy to be healthy at Christmas..I hope you feel better soon. I lost two vintage glass ornaments this year too…but it was all me, butter fingers. Oh I was so mad at myself..oh well. I could forgive Jasper, too cute to scold. 😀 Thanks a bunch for your message Mel!

It does feel good to get the house back to normal after the holidays. It took me two days to put everything away here. Now, I am trying to figure out how to decorate for VAL-entine’s Day! I hear a paper mache project in my near future! (perhaps paper hearts!) 🙂

You’ve told me how you love to have everything tidy, me too. It’s so much fun putting it all up but then to put away…yikes! You’re such a creative crafter, I can’t wait to see your hearts! You are the Da Vinci of papier-mâché ;D
