Dear friends,
I just wanted to tell you how lovely you’ve been. I’m often touched by the your generous messages. Sometimes it’s truly overwhelming and I’m so grateful you’re here. A simple ‘thank you’ almost seems repetitive at times, but please know your thoughtfulness and encouragement along the way mean a lot to me. I wish you all a perfectly wonderful day. This is for you!
It’s so lovely , missing childhood days when blowing them & following it to catch it again 😀 it was fun back there , beautiful video ❤ … thank you for sharing … 😀

That’s lovely! My biped says that they used to ‘tell the time’ by how many puffs it took to blow the seeds away.

Thanks for watching Clowie, I’d not ever heard that before. How dear. I guess if you have time to enjoy blowing on dandelion pods, it’s safe to say you don’t need to worry about the time. 😀

They’re wayyyyyy to tempting aren’t they? As a child, I loved them too. Then as a homeowner who’s neighbour had them wall-to-wall, I liked them less. Now, as a condo dweller with no yard, I’m embrassing them again. FULL-circle, LOL. Thanks for your nice message Sheryl! 😀

As a kid was scared off by adults not to touch dandelions as they make you wet the bed lol. Beautiful post x

LOL, that’s not one I’d ever heard. Maybe unique to your local…goodness, that would be frightening. When we lived at the lake, we tried to mow b4 they went to see. But our neighbour wasn’t of the same mind, hence no matter what we did, we had plenty. In the city I live, there’s no attempt to manage them as it’d be too costly and no herbicides are allowed, so we just embrace them. Thanks so much for your message. x

HA, you wouldn’t say that if you saw me using my NEW PHONE…..I feel old 😀 My hubster and I walked the river valley picking dandelion heads and then he did the blowing and I did the filming. Sometimes he’d blow so hard there wasn’t anything in the picture frame, HA! Thanks for being part of Boomdeeadda Marlene 😀

Thanks Alys, I actually used iMovies again. My expert Dandelion blower (Mr B) and I walked the river valley one night and I took some short clips with my Canon. He blew so hard a couple of times there wasn’t anything in the frame, LOL. With iMovie I added an Opening and Closing and turned the film into a coloured negative after cropping. Oh, I also recorded me but in an echo. I was going for the ‘wishing well’ sound. It’s fun pretending to be a movie producer. There’s all kinds of ‘pre-built’ productions to use too. Mwaaaa for your beee-u-tiful message too.

Love the dandelions when they’re in their “blow away seed” stage! What fond memories from a million years ago when I was a little girl……between dandelion wishes and buttercup kisses, there was a lot of giggling and smiling…..! Just like when I visit your blog!
Hugs, Pam (and Sam)

Hi Leilani, I was out with my husband trying to get some pictures of a dandelion loosing it’s seeds. I think we did more laughing than anything but that inspired a mini iMovie project. Just learning still but a fun challenge. It’s been great to visit with you over the past few months, again thanks for all your visits.
