Make A Wish & Blow!

Dear friends,

I just wanted to tell you how lovely you’ve been.  I’m often touched by the your generous messages. Sometimes it’s truly overwhelming and I’m so grateful you’re here.    A simple ‘thank you’ almost seems repetitive at times, but please know your thoughtfulness and encouragement along the way mean a lot to me.  I wish you all a perfectly wonderful day.  This is for you!

  1. It’s so lovely , missing childhood days when blowing them & following it to catch it again 😀 it was fun back there , beautiful video ❤ … thank you for sharing … 😀

    1. Thanks for watching Clowie, I’d not ever heard that before. How dear. I guess if you have time to enjoy blowing on dandelion pods, it’s safe to say you don’t need to worry about the time. 😀

  2. It’s always fun to read the comments that follow your lovely posts … you have such nice followers! Nice follows nice, right?

    1. And I forgot! A friend gave me a tour through his garden, showing me his new projects. One of which was a Fairy Garden. I took a photo for you … but am clueless as to how to link it so I can show you. Ah well … thoughts were with you!!

    2. Yes, Awesomely nice and kind visitors, Of course that includes YOU! I feel really lucky 😀 I think in the end, while everyone has diverse talents and interests, we all have more in common than not and I always enjoy your visits LB, thanks again.

    1. They’re wayyyyyy to tempting aren’t they? As a child, I loved them too. Then as a homeowner who’s neighbour had them wall-to-wall, I liked them less. Now, as a condo dweller with no yard, I’m embrassing them again. FULL-circle, LOL. Thanks for your nice message Sheryl! 😀

    1. LOL, that’s not one I’d ever heard. Maybe unique to your local…goodness, that would be frightening. When we lived at the lake, we tried to mow b4 they went to see. But our neighbour wasn’t of the same mind, hence no matter what we did, we had plenty. In the city I live, there’s no attempt to manage them as it’d be too costly and no herbicides are allowed, so we just embrace them. Thanks so much for your message. x

    1. HA, you wouldn’t say that if you saw me using my NEW PHONE…..I feel old 😀 My hubster and I walked the river valley picking dandelion heads and then he did the blowing and I did the filming. Sometimes he’d blow so hard there wasn’t anything in the picture frame, HA! Thanks for being part of Boomdeeadda Marlene 😀

        1. Thanks Alys, I actually used iMovies again. My expert Dandelion blower (Mr B) and I walked the river valley one night and I took some short clips with my Canon. He blew so hard a couple of times there wasn’t anything in the frame, LOL. With iMovie I added an Opening and Closing and turned the film into a coloured negative after cropping. Oh, I also recorded me but in an echo. I was going for the ‘wishing well’ sound. It’s fun pretending to be a movie producer. There’s all kinds of ‘pre-built’ productions to use too. Mwaaaa for your beee-u-tiful message too.

  3. Right back at you Boomdee! ❤
You always have the kindest words, the sweetest thoughts, and the bestest poems to share…. we are all smiles here at the ranch whenever you come visiting 🙂

    1. Awww, you are a doll Kathryn. mwaaaa. I’m so glad to have found you and your dear pals. Everyone of them make me so happy and my heart melt. Have a great weekend.

  4. That is so beautiful – ‘Just gor-juss!’, as we say in this part of the world…….Though I am a new follower to your blog, I can see you are a special person! Big hug to you!! 🙂

  5. Love the dandelions when they’re in their “blow away seed” stage! What fond memories from a million years ago when I was a little girl……between dandelion wishes and buttercup kisses, there was a lot of giggling and smiling…..! Just like when I visit your blog!

    Hugs, Pam (and Sam)

    1. Good Morning Pam! That’s so sweet that it reminded you of the past. It seems like those childhood memories are so long ago don’t they? Maybe only 1/2 million years ago though LOL Have a awesome weekend! xk

    1. Hi Leilani, I was out with my husband trying to get some pictures of a dandelion loosing it’s seeds. I think we did more laughing than anything but that inspired a mini iMovie project. Just learning still but a fun challenge. It’s been great to visit with you over the past few months, again thanks for all your visits.

Talk nerdy to me………..
